A fast-track Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design in only three years.
The Creative Center offers an option for students who continue their course work to receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design. A low teacher/student ratio allows instructors to give each student individual attention and critiques along with easy access to computer peripherals and printers. Students attend one course each day, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m..

The BFA program provides more in-depth study of graphic design. Students will continue to develop their portfolios with more creative, award-winning projects. They will continue to utilize a personal work station and their own laptop computer. The BFA degree has become increasingly important for job placement in the graphic arts field.

While the BFA degree program is a continuation of the AOS degree program, it is specifically designed to:
• provide an advanced and in-depth study of advertising and graphic design.
• place more emphasis on award-winning creativity and generating ideas through research.
• allow students to customize their portfolios to showcase their strengths.
• include job shadowing which allows the students opportunities to make contact with potential employers and discover places they may like to work and develop their career.
• emphasize the importance of all forms of business communication for a successful art career.
• include general studies courses which are designed to provide students with a business perspective for their art including communication, finance, cultural trends, business styles, multicultural similarities and differences, and global values – all areas which impact the graphic arts field.
